User fields
User fields are for employee attendee types. User fields are applicable to the user profile (fields required to register for a Concierge Live account) and user attendee types (Employee, Employee R&R, etc.).
Once data is entered into a user field, the data is retained for future requests. User field data can be edit by users (except name and email which can only be edited by Setup admin for data integrity purposes).
Contact Fields
Contact fields are for external attendees and applicable to contact attendee types (Client, Prospect, Vendor, etc.).
Once data is entered into a contact field, the data is retained for future requests. Contact fields should be used for data that won’t change regularly like name, company, title, email, address, etc.. Contact fields can be edit when making a request (except name and company fields which can only be edited by Setup admin for data integrity purposes).
Attendee Fields
Attendee fields can be applied to both a contact (external attendee – client, prospect, etc.) or a user (employee) attendee type. When required, attendee fields must be completed each time an attendee is entertained. These fields are for data that will change when attendee is entertained. For example, “purpose of entertainment” should change each time an attendee is entertained.
