This is a ticket admin decision. Concierge Live recommends using auto-assign when you project the number of requested tickets will not exceed the number of available tickets. Many clients use auto-assign for lesser demand events and hope someone, anyone will request them. Concierge Live recommends lottery when you anticipate more requests for tickets than the available number of tickets. A lottery allows all users the opportunity to request tickets, not first request in, gets tickets like auto-assign. At at designated time (ticket admin determine the timeframe) the lottery will process requests based on recent attendance and frequency of attendance for lottery events.
